Millions of railway photographs have been taken over the last 140 years or so and there is an eager market for these on auction sites. Regrettably for rail and local history enthusiasts, many of these photographs are a mystery so far as their location and story is concerned.
Can you help?
Rail.co.uk has been asked by several people to identify locations. So if anybody recognises, and can date these photographs, please do let us know!

It looks very like Mobberley. The carriages on the right are still there (but have been moved further back) and I think the corner of the main building can just been seen to the right. The layout of track seems to look correct as well.
