The Vale of Rheidol Railway is a narrow-gauge heritage railway running steam-hauled passenger trains between Aberystwyth and Devil's Bridge.
Twelve miles of some of the finest scenery in Britain . . . and twelve miles back again!
Opened in 1902, the Vale of Rheidol Railway is a masterpiece of engineering and has been delighting passengers young and old for generations. Although they no longer carry lead ore from the mines, they have been carrying tourists to the beauty spot of Devil's Bridge for over a hundred years!
From the seaside town of Aberystwyth the Vale of Rheidol Railway takes you on a journey through wide open fields, woodland and rugged mountain scenery unique to Wales.
Regular services from Easter until the end of October. Daily services during the summer. See website for details.
